Marcellus Shale plant opens in southwestern Pa.

A plant built to process natural gas drawn from the Marcellus Shale formation in southwestern Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia is up and running. The facility about 15 miles south of Pittsburgh can process 30 million cubic feet of natural gas each day.
