Everett Appointed Chair on Energy Committee

Rep. Garth Everett (R- Lycoming) has been named minority chairman of the House Subcommittee on Energy of the Environmental Resources and Energy Committee by Republican Leader Sam Smith (R-Punxsutawney).

"Most of the in-depth discussion and research we do on legislation is done at the committee level, and even more so at the subcommittee level," Everett said. "I am pleased to have the opportunity to help lead this discussion, especially on issues that directly affect my constituents."
